Classes
Each class is tailored to meet the needs of the students, whether children or adults, and incorporates stimulation of each Treasure – physical (flexibility, strength, endurance), mental (history, philosophy, application), and spiritual (present-focused, breathe work, empathy). As a student progresses, they are provided leadership opportunities to lead sections of class and breakout sessions with newer students.
Tai Chi & Ki Gong
Tai Chi & Ki Gong are practices which involve a series of slow, gentle, mindful movements and physical postures, a meditative state of mind, and controlled breathing. Tai Chi originated as a martial art in ancient China. Over the years, it has become more focused on health promotion and rehabilitation.

FAQs
Martial Arts
Tiny Tigers & Little Dragons (4-7)
Gross motor skills, play, and a focus on developing awareness are the pillars of the Tiny Tigers & Little Dragons program. Children are introduced to karate through fun physical activities. Regular mat chats and weekly topics are designed to further develop the mental and emotional well-being of children to improve their confidence, respect, resilience, and establishment of healthy habits.
Youth (7-12)
The focus is mental, physical, and emotional betterment through karate. The WTSDA curriculum is introduced and games are still sparingly used to create a fun atmosphere while working on gross motor movements, endurance, and strength. As youths physically and mentally develop, we spend more time working on finer motor skills and continue building confidence, respect, resilience, and establishment of healthy habits.
Teen & Adult (12+)
Good for all ages and body types, classes are tailored to the needs of the individual based on previous experience, abilities, and fitness level. Self-defense, health, and becoming better people are the purposes with which we train. Goal setting and leadership development are core components to our classes in addition to the physical karate work. More strength and flexibility training is incorporated into class, as well as scenario-based training, pad work, and live semi-compliant drills to develop our karate skills against several different body types.
