Leadership Development at Three Treasures Martial Arts consists of a core curriculum supplemented with adaptive modules depending on the needs of the student. Every student works to develop the proper mindsets for being an effective leader in the 21st century — servant-first, goal-setting (and achieving!), and empathy.
Here are some of the ways we build leadership:
Regular volunteering and fundraising opportunities for local non-profit charities such as the River Food Pantry, Second Harvest Food Bank, Project Home, and Urban League of Madison.
Worksheets and accountability groups to effectively and accurately capture, track, and reward achievement(s) of goals.
Communication and emotional development through mat chats and activities designed to improve empathy and understanding.
